The Design

The Twist Bag has become the latest ‘IT’ bag in the Louis Vuitton collection. Together with the Capucines Bag, it’s paving the way to claim it’s iconic status. The Twist Bag comes usually in Epi Leather and it has a beautiful chic look. It features a front flap with the new LV logo in 3D crafted in the center. This bag also comes with a long chain strap for shoulder carry or cross body. The Twist Foldable Bag is new though and it’s introduced for the Fall Winter 2017 Collection.

This is the original Twist GM Bag

So what’s new about the Twist Foldable Bag?

First of all, it’s the shape. The original Twist GM Bag is smaller and has a rectangle shape. It was built to become a shoulder bag.

But the Twist Foldable Bag is bigger and has a trapezoid shape. You can easy shorten the chain to carry by hand or just on your shoulder, or cross body.

To give you a clear comparison in size, the original Twist GM Bag is measured 27 x 18 x 10 (L x H x W) cm while the Twist Foldable GM Bag is measured 30 x 24 x 10 (L x H x W) cm. As you can see, the Twist Foldable GM Bag is bigger in length and height, but the depth is the same.

What’s more? The bag comes with a sliding chain strap with leather shoulder pad. There is a back pocket on the exterior for quick access to your essentials.

Inside the Twist Foldable Bag, you will find one big space for all your belongings. The space is quite large, there is also a patch pocket and zip pocket available. This bag is perfect for daily use, it’s ideal for work as well as for shopping days.

Daphne Groeneveld heads to the streets of New York City for the fall-winter 2017 campaign from fur brand, Blackglama. The Dutch beauty poses in cool girl styles including fur vests and jackets in modern cuts. Photographed by Laspata DeCaro, Daphne heads to cobble stone streets with taxis and motorcycles in the background. For beauty, Ward Stegerhoek worked on hair with makeup by Polly Osmond.

“We wanted to take a step back from the intangible glamour that is often associated with fur and create looks that feel more approachable to the modern woman,” says Dale Theisen, CEO of American Legend Cooperative, which owns the Blackglama brand.

Some seasonal bags return; other seasonal bags go and disappear forever. The Chanel Mademoiselle Vintage Chevron WOC is probably the first one, because we’ve seen this bag come back collection after collection.

First released in the Pre-Fall 2016 Collection, is the Mademoiselle Vintage Bag here to stay? Well, we do not know the answer to that question, but for the Fall Winter 2017 Collection Act 2, the fashion house introduces a new variation of the Mademoiselle Vintage WOC and its beautiful!

The Design

So what has changed? The Chanel Mademoiselle Vintage WOC is now re-created with Chevron Quilting. When this bag was first introduced, it was crafted in diamond quilting and later on it was reintroduced in gross grain and satin. But we like leathering much better, don’t we?

The latest Mademoiselle Vintage Chevron WOC is made in sheepskin. This leather is not only durable but also easier to maintain than lambskin. It’s softer than caviar though. This bag looks a bit like the Boy Bag, because the center is quilted but the surrounding (or edges) is made in smooth leather.

The front flap is refined with the new CC logo. This logo is colored in the same shade as the bag and it’s covered in gold hardware around the edges. What’s more? The top of the bag is crafted in woven chain leather strap for shoulder or cross body carry.

The Interior

The Mademoiselle Vintage WOC is more flexible than the Classic WOC’s and there is slightly more space. If you open the bag, you will find one large compartment inside including a zip pocket. This bag is the perfect evening bag or just a mini cute small bag to carry at day.
